Former attorney still in jail
In 2001 a former defense attorney admitted that he had conspired with a “full time” crime professional to traffic cocaine and launder money that came from a $10 million armored car heist. Not in the least he admitted to have been part of the planning to kill a “business partner ” of his crime mate. The plans failed. The defense attorney was jailed. The “business partner” eventually was killed while the attorney was in jail. Authorities claim that he had not been part of that murder plan.
Last year he fell in prison and suffered severe brain damage. His lawyer tried to get him out on home confinement. Result: he was resentenced to 15 years so still has 6 years to go.
